F.L.I.R.L.

Part of the artist’s Acronym Neons series, FLIRL (Feel Love in Real Life) comments on the ways in which social media has caused us to translate our love language into a “like” language. We have begun to express our care for those around us primarily through our online interactions. As a result, we are quickly becoming desensitized to the significance of a “like”. Created in 2018 and exhibited in conjunction with Part III of The Women’s Trilogy Project, FLIRL reiterates the necessity to express our care in more meaningful ways.
